Losar is New Year in Tibetan. It is the largest festival of the year. This is year 2141 according to the Lunar calendar and the Chinese horoscope it is the year of the Wooden Horse.
On Losar, Tibetans start their day by taking a bath and wearing new clothes. Then they worship the Gods and make tormas (offerings), then they visit the Monasteries and make offerings.
