Following Our Path in Life

These last two years have been difficult because my health and life were at risk. On April 2013, I was diagnosed with three aneurysms and went through two complicated surgeries. This year I’ve been hospitalized as well due to some complications from last year’s issues.

After all this, I realize how fragile our life is and we should never waste a single minute to meditate about our spiritual existence and do our best to become a better person every day while we are here. We should always follow our path in life whatever our goals are, we should never give up, we must be positive and happy. We don’t know how much time we have left.

Let your loved ones know how much you care for them, send them a note or give them a call, always keep in touch.
Also never procrastinate and don’t leave things for the future. You never know if there will be a tomorrow. We have to live each day appreciating every single detail around us.

Photo above: Kanaka Creek is one of my favorite places to visit. It is nice to go for a walk by ourselves for it allows us to think, relax and focus on things we would like to do.

On sunny mornings I love going for walks near rivers and lakes. It is a great opportunity to relax, meditate and of course to take photographs.

Pitt Meadows, BC is one of my favorite places because you always find gorgeous views like the one on this image.

There are many photographers in the area that, just like me, love the contact with nature and wildlife. We often exchange photo suggestions and advice.

This image was edited in Photoshop CS5. I applied textures to add a painting effect. Playing with layers is fun and you can add a special touch to your images. Do you like this effect?
